What I’d Do As Head of Fan Engagement — Created by Enyjé Sandoz
Today, Chris Brown announced his 20th Anniversary, 'Breezy Bowl XX' World Stadium Tour. The excitement is palpable from all around! With fan/community engagement always being a focal point for me, I could not resist crafting a proposal from the standpoint of 'Head of Fan Engagement'.
When it comes to seeing your favorite artist in concert, the setlist is of utmost importance after securing your ticket. With a tour of this magnitude — celebrating 20 years and 11 different eras, fan input is crucial in creating the set list of Team Breezy’s dreams. While radio hits and notable records are monumental in contributing to the overall success of the past 20 years, diehard fans want to hear album deep cuts, mixtape songs, and songs that have never seen the light of the stage.
As Head of Fan Engagement, I’d:
With a 20th Anniversary Tour, the expectation is for the attendees (outside of Team Breezy) to be well-informed on the discography. From self-titled (Chris Brown) to 11:11 (Deluxe) — yes, even including Graffiti, and not referring to I Can Transform Ya, to mixtapes, we are scratching every surface of the past twenty years. Class is in session, and listening parties are the course catalog for Breezy Bowl XX 101.
As Head of Fan Engagement, I’d:
A milestone of this immensity deserves a proper celebration before the tour kicks off. To appreciate today, we must travel back to where it began and journey through the 11 eras. Tour content is among the highly requested forms of content from Team Breezy — the most requested is a tour documentary. It is safe to assume that the past 20 years are well-documented and to bring fans along the ride, each week (leading up to the tour) should be focused on a different era, which will coincide with the listening parties.
As Head of Fan Engagement, I’d:
‘Live with Lance’ has become a treasure among Team Breezy on the last few tours. Not only are the videos highly entertaining, but an opportune way to engage the audience before the show starts.
Why not further enhance this experience through fan collaborations?
As Head of Fan Engagement, I’d:
Yassss! I know the setlist has already been established and the tour had started but he alter it and add “Nowhere”.🤣💜
