11th House Profection Years Bring About Grammy Award-Winning Albums by Enyjé Sandoz

If you are a frequent reader of ‘Written By Enyjé’ (first off, merci beaucoup!), by now, you know the majority of my blog posts are inspired by thoughts that I then tweeted, or I was listening to music, watching a movie or TV show, or decided to share something occurring in my life. It is almost like the neurons and synapses in my brain fire off and weave a web of associations, leading to a string of thoughts, which I compose into a blog post. Quite literally, what makes Written By Enyjé, Written By Enyjé, because, in true Enyjé fashion, things are random, spontaneous, spur of the moment, and mainly make sense to me, but I know there are people who catch my drift.

Today’s blog post is sourced from two inspirations: a tweet and music.

Earlier, I was reflecting on profection year cycles, “a timing technique that assigns a specific astrological house to each year of your life, suggesting that the themes and energies of that house will be prominent during that year,” as defined by Google, resulting in an entire Twitter (yes, I know it’s ‘X’) thread.

This 12-year cycle occurs for the entirety of your life — each birthday transitioning you into a new phase of the cycle, known as a ‘profection year.’ Astrology has many layers, and while I love to talk about it, I realize explaining it poses a challenge because I understand it in a way that makes sense to me, which my mom likes to call: ‘Geminics’ (no stealing her saying!) — basically a Gemini's way of thinking, which only they can understand. So, to spare any type of confusion, I am including a chart below to provide a brief overview of the focus for each year.

While at least an hour has passed since I tweeted, my brain circled back to the concept of profection years, but this time relating it to music. Shocker? Not really. I have music on the brain 24/7. Family, coffee, music, career (which relates to music), and being wealthy own the bulk of real estate in my fabulous mind.

As some may know from reading my other blog posts, my favorite artist is Chris Brown. So, whenever I am thinking about music, it goes: Chris Brown, and then any other artists.

Now, how does he correlate to profection years?

Well, back in 2023, I made the connection that he was entering his 11th house profection year — his previous 11th profection year took place during his ‘F.A.M.E.’ era, the Grammy Award-Winning album for ‘Best R&B Album’ and the most acclaimed album of his by the general public (even surpassing self-titled, ‘Chris Brown’). Around this time in 2023, I made the connection, and I wondered musically what this 11th House Profection year would bring for him. At the time, there was no mention of a new album or single, but new music was to be expected because he is always working on new music.

Lo and behold, in June 2023, he released the first single of his upcoming album (it was not named then), Summer Too Hot. Subsequently, in the following months, he began revealing more about his upcoming album, known as 11:11 — paying homage to it being his 11th studio album and aligning with the numerological meaning of the angel number and with a release date of November 10th, 2023. A few months later, on April 11, 2024, he released 11:11 (Deluxe)

It was not until a few minutes ago that I realized both albums, were released during his 11th House profection years, resulting in widespread acclaim and Grammys for Best R&B Album

F.A.M.E. was released in March 2011, which technically was during the end of his 10th House Profection year, but the era persisted during his 11th House profection year, and his Grammy win at the 2012 Grammys was during his 11th House profection year. As with 11:11 (Standard Edition) and 11:11 (Deluxe), he released both albums while still in his 11th House Profection year and won the Grammy for 11:11 (Deluxe) at the 2025 Grammys.

I found this to be very coincidental (but telling and indicative of astrology and its mysterious ways) and wanted to share my thoughts.

What do you think about profection years?

Have you noticed any personal patterns in your profection years?
