'Love and War' and 'Trust and Believe' Similarities by Enyjé Sandoz

Two of my favorite songs from 2012 are Love and War by Tamar Braxton and Trust and Believe by Keyshia Cole. 

Over the years, I could not help but associate the two with one another. Last night, I was half asleep trying to decode the similarities I picked up. 

I could not figure out if it was the same chord progression, whether it was the tempo, or if it was the same beat, but in another key. 

Both songs are absolutely incredible, and had 11-year-old me singing my little heart out! 😭🩵
